What’s Being Said!
“Stacie Heintze’s approach to Eating Psychology is holistic. Her 6 week program, “Stop the Crazy” has gotten me to think very differently about food and how to nourish, my body, as well as my mind and soul. I am recognizing my difficult food habits, learning how to change them, but also how to forgive myself. It’s a journey, but Stacie’s program has given me the tools I need to know how to listen to my body and heal my mindset around my body image and food.”
What We’ll Cover…
Slow Down – You’ll work on learning to slow down with food and with life to help you better understand yourself and be able to hear what your body is needing.
Embody – You’ll learn how to be in your body, to appreciate your body and what it does for you, despite your imperfections, and you’ll learn to reclaim your body as yours and yours alone.
Quiet the Monkey Mind – Week three you’ll dive deeper into the emotional and physical aspects that drive you to eat uncontrollably. You’ll get proven strategies and exercises to help you let go of the crazy diet/binge cycle.
Forgiveness – You’ll explore what life experiences and pain you have yet to fully digest. Where you are holding onto emotions that are festering and stewing in your psyche and may be holding you back from healing your relationship with food and body.
Nourishing Your Body – This week you’ll focus on how to nourish yourself in a non-restrictive, non-diet-centered way and the enjoyment that can be found from treating yourself kindly to feel good both physically and emotionally.
Find Your Pleasure & Putting it All Together -Your relationship with pleasure profoundly informs the health of your relationship with food, and the health of your body. It’s fabulous to enjoy food and your body!
The confusion around what to eat has probably never been greater. There’s so much information out there about what’s the best diet, Paleo, Vegan, Low Carb, High Carb, Low Fat, High Fat…sugar is the evil empire, the list goes on. The problem isn’t lack of information, it’s the inability to sort through the information and figure out what works best for your unique biochemistry, mood, and physical health… all while learning how to accept yourself as you are.
That’s why I developed this program. I want to help you learn what truly nourishes you – the whole you!
Though it may feel like a tall order, it really is possible to figure out what works for your body, what energizes you and contributes to your best health. It is possible to accept your body where you’re at and still want to make changes and eat and move in a way that truly supports and respects the amazing physical entity that carries you around and lets you experience all the joys and sorrows of life! It is possible to get off the crazy diet/binge cycle and learn how to listen to your body, to quiet all of the external “shoulds” and “shouldn’ts” and go inward to hear what YOUR voice is telling you about YOUR body! Learn how to respect that voice that has your best interest at heart, to separate it from the rebel voice of self-sabotage that tells you to go eat boxes of pop tarts or whatever latest crazy diet trigger sends you off on a binge.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this program work?
–The program lasts for 6 weeks and is held online. You’ll receive a weekly email with links to the video or audio files and meditation. The email will contain the week’s handouts, which include all of the information to guide you through the week and the exercises. You’ll also have access to our online Facebook group and be able to participate in three live Q & A sessions.
Will this coaching program help me lose weight?
–This is not a weight loss program. Some folks lose, some gain, some stay the same. It can depend on where you’re body is at. If you’ve been chronically dieting and under eating and begin listening to your hunger and fullness signals you may gain a bit, if you’ve been chronically overeating and begin honoring your hunger signals you may lose, but there is no guarantee of weight loss and weight loss is not the focus of this program. Learning to stop the crazy diet/binge cycle and gain body acceptance and peace with food is the focus.
Does this program tell me what to eat or how to move my body?
–Heck no! What you’ll learn to do is to listen to your body to figure out how best to nourish yourself, which includes a variety of foods and enjoyable movement and which is up to you to figure out. The days of having someone tell you how to eat, when to eat, what to eat and how much to exercise are over! I’m all for healthy movement and we all know that fruits and vegetables are healthy, but you don’t need yet another person telling you what you can and can’t do. It’s time to trust yourself and really get to know who you are and what fuels and drives you.
How much time commitment is needed?
–Approximately one-two hours a week, but then however much you want to put into it is what you’ll get out of it. There are recommended resources and readings to explore and there is the Facebook group as well to spend time in if you like. It’s really up to you and what you’re able to do. There are no set requirements, the information is here for you to delve into as you’re able.
I have an Eating Disorder, is this program right for me?
–Unfortunately, no. If you have an active eating disorder then you need a team of qualified professionals to help you through your recovery. To find a team near you, you can look at some of these resources:
